No decision on NRO yet: Zahid Khan

PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party has not yet decided whether to support the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) or oppose it, party spokesman Senator Zahid Khan said on Monday. “We have made no decisions as yet. We are considering every aspect of the ordinance and will make a decision later,” he told Daily Times. Khan said the country was in a state of war, adding his party would consider the impact of the ordinance on the ongoing military operation in South Waziristan Agency if it was tabled in parliament. The ANP spokesman said his party was in no hurry and would make a final decision when the ordinance was introduced in the National Assembly. zakir hassnain
